Brookhaven Porchest returns Saturday, Sept. 7, for the second celebration of good food, good tunes, and good times in the Drew Valley neighborhood.

Nine bands will perform on front porches or in driveways from 12-7 p.m. In addition, there will be live performances at Arnette’s on Friday and Saturday nights. Although the event is free, organizers are asking attendees to tip the bands.

Each band will perform for about an hour while Brookhaven residents walk around with wagons full of kids and coolers. It’s like a traveling pack of people, said Blake Beyer, who is hosting rock band The Trilby Brothers.
